Folk art production • folk art productionis a valuableculturalheritage and is a significantexpressionofthecreativeartsofprevious and presentgenerations • traditional art crafts and folk art and their outcomes as a part of cultural heritagehave been accompanied by mankind since ancient times. The result of human labor and production in the field of traditional art crafts, which are cultural heritage and national identity, and this is also the legacy of our ancestors • in the late 19th century and early 20th century, folk production was organized in Slovakia through the establishment of associations and cooperatives. It is important to preserve our cultural heritage because it keeps our integrity as a people • the best way to preserve our cultural heritage, whatever it may be, is to share it with others • safeguarding them is about the transferring of knowledge, skills and meaning • ULUV's main purpose is to conserve, document, and promote the knowledge, skills, processes, and aesthetic patterns (arising from the use of natural materials) of folk art productions and by doing so, thus preserving them for future generations
