What is a Virtual Card? • A virtual card is a 16-digit card number that's created to facilitate payment of a single supplier invoice • It can only be used once and generally for the exact amount of the invoice • No physical card is involved, no card numbers are stored • Suppliers who accept virtual cards authorize and settle them just like any other Mastercard through their existing merchant card processing system

  23. How Bill.Com will Integrate Virtual Cards Into our Platform An AP subscriber schedules a bill for payment. BDC identifies that the vendor prefers cards and converts the payment to a virtual card. BDC debits the subscriber’s bank account via ACH debit, as usual. BDC sends a virtual card request to Comdata. Comdata sends the card number to the vendor/supplier along with the associated remittance information. The supplier receives the VCN and enters it in its card processing system just like a physical card or a card-not-present transaction.
