  4. I M P O R T A N T P A R A G R A P H THEME An important theme in the novel High Tide, by Anna Mackenzie is Friendship and Loyalty. This idea is important because friendship is an important part of life, and you need to be loyal to be a good friend. An example of this is when Hannah stays back with Charlotte when she needs her the most. I think that friendship and loyalty means a lot in a relationship and its good that everybody was friends in the story.
