  3. SEC: the database The Statistics on Enterprises by size-Class (SEC) database: Data (Business statistics by size class) + Interface

  4. SEC: the data coverage • The SEC database contains: • Business statistics classified in ISIC rev. 2 and rev. 3 • for OECD countries • by employment size class

SEC: the data coverage • Outstanding issues: • Different national activity classifications • Memorandum of understanding with Eurostat • Bilateral co-operation with countries • 70+ – overlapping – size-classes • SEC interface • Data availability - limited coverage of core and specific variables by size class • workshop and stocktaking exercise
