Trans*inclusiveness including considering comprehensive An inclusive approach includes the perspective (i.a. through their participation and giving room for comments), considers their specific needs (i.a. language) and is comprehensive of all vital issues at stake (i.a. legal, social, medical). Trans* - encompasses the needs of the wide transgender community.

What is different between LGB and T language issues, i.a. pronouns; experienced everyday discrimination, SO less visible than GI; areas of discrimination, i.a. goods and services; different visibility, different acceptance.
What is similar between LGB and T - one can be both LGB and T (and Q); oppresive language is culturally gender-based; similar experience in violence; wide definition of same-sex; similarly limited access to healthcare, education.

I. Family Lack of civil partnerships, marriage equality and same-sex adoption is discrimination based on sexual orientaion and gender identity (divorce requirement).
II. Safety Usual targets of violence are people thought to be non-normative. Usual psychological violence is „faggots”, „sissies”. Perpetrators do not distinguish between SO and GI. Victim support services should have a meta perspective on both SO and GI.
III. Education Young people usually are not aware of their gender identity and do not percieve gender identity based bullying as having to do with their gender identity. Bullies do not distinguish between SO and GI. Neither do teachers. Schools should teach about the variety of SOs and GIs.
IV. Healthcare Prejudiced and discriminatory healthcare professionals do not distinguish between SO and GI (they refuse treatment either way).
How do we do it? Educate your staff (or change it). Think before you say: who does the issue at stake concern? Gender identity (and expression) in internal policies. Gender neutral bathrooms. Ask about preffered name. Gender identity, not sex, in forms (not binary to say the least!). Educate other NGOs. Strategies for groups with lesser chances (recruitment).
