  5. IG Mission The Inspector General administers the complaint resolution process for the Air Force community to impartially and practically address complaints in order to enhance morale, promote efficiency, and emphasize mission focus BE AMERICA’S BEST

  6. What is a Complaint? An allegation or set of allegations that assert a wrong or violation of law, regulation, instruction, policy, procedures or rules, or report conditions detrimental to the operation, mission, or reputation of the Air Force. IG Complaint Program BE AMERICA’S BEST

Fraud, Waste & Abuse Any intentional deception, deceit by suppressing facts Offer, payment, acceptance of bribes or gratuities Evading or corrupting inspectors or other officials Making false statements, submitting false claims, falsifying records Extravagant, careless or needless expenditure of Air Force funds Intentionally wrongful or improper use of Air Force resources BE AMERICA’S BEST

Post Interview Process CSAF Handoff - Suicide Concerns Policy letter for investigative interviews 30% of suicides result from legal problems or individuals under investigation Notification Following an interview, all subjects will be referred to their commander or 1st sergeant Referral must be person-to-person contact BE AMERICA’S BEST
