  2. After opening the test builder select create new test from scratch.

  3. Input the name of the test (e.g. Basic 1midterm or final)

  4. Once you have created the name of the exam edit the exam ID.

  5. Now let’s work on making questions for the test.First you must create narratives.

  6. SELECT NEW

  7. YOU WILL NEED TO Create separate narratives for every skill tested in the exam (reading, writing, listening, grammar, etc.)to do this for each one FILL OUT THE NARRATIVE SECTION, ASSIGN THE NARRATIVE A NAME, AND RECORD.

  8. NOW lets Select the type of question you want to create.

  9. Input the question, answer, and distractors you would like to use for this item.

  10. Plan the exam information for this item indicating the correct answer, number of choices, scramble (used to mix choice order if desired) and number of columns. Remember to also choose the narrative which this itemwill be a part of.

  11. Create your rationale explaining why each option is correct or incorrect.

  12. Clic on the Info Tab.

  13. Fill out the info tab in order to get statistical reports after the exam has been administered.
