Transitions • Transitions are movements from one slide to another during a presentation. • A transition can add the checkerboard effect to each slide. • On Mouse Click is the option which indicates that a presentation should wait for a mouse click prior to moving to the next slide.
Transitions • The Duration command is used to specify the length of the transition effect for each slide in a presentation. • If you want slide 1 to stay on the screen for 30 seconds use Duration. • If you do not want the sound clip icon to display during a slideshow use Hide During Show.
Animation • Use animation to add visual interest such as having planes fly in on a slide. • Entrance is the commonly used animation effect makes text on a slide appear in the presentation.
Animation • The animation effect adds interest to a slide show and focuses audience attention on important points by adding entrances, emphasis, motion paths, or exits to text or objects. • You can go to add animation to create entrance and exit animation. • The Effect Options command is used to view the various options that can be applied to an animation.
Animation • Animation pane is used to reorder slides. • Reorder Animation is used to switch slides around to be more audience friendly. • To reverse the order of the entrance of drums and french horns on slide seven use the Animation Pane.
