  4. Detailed Process Description • Make-to-Order Quotation Processing with Variant Pricing • Quotation processing is the first stage of the whole business process. In this scenario, the process is demonstrated using a configurable material as an example • The scenario is triggered when a written request for a quotation for a configurable materiel is received from a customer. A quotation is then created in the SAP system in response to the customer's RFQ. The customer requests a technical change and a follow-on quotation is createdwith reference to the original quotation • The customer then requests a price change for which the follow-on quotation is adapted. Finally, the customer accepts the last follow-on quotation and a referenced sales order is created
