  1. Clean Campus Award September 2012 North Pike Elementary School

  2. Clean Campus Award • Congratulations to Mrs. Burdett, staff and students of North Pike Elementary School for being this month’s Clean Campus Award recipient. The school reflects a principal with high expectations for cleanliness, as well as a proud group of custodians, staff and students. There is participation throughout the school. A student body that is proud will keep a well maintained facility. We are proud of everyone at North Pike Elementary School.

  3. North Pike Elementary • I am attaching a few pictures to show off the quality of cleaning throughout the campus. • The criteria for the “Clean Campus Award” encompasses much more than just the interior of the building. When selecting the Cleanest Campus it is important to judge all areas: Litter free grounds, clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms and cafeterias. I also take into account the age of the building. I am proud of the county for the upkeep of these older buildings and for replacing those modular buildings with a new kindergarten wing. The grounds have instant curb appeal.

  4. Entrances • The front entrance into the office lobby is shiny and the murals on the walls are a perfect first impression of the interior.

  5. Appearances • More first appearances that show the pride, characteristics and priorities of North Pike School District.

  6. Restrooms • Clean, odor free restrooms • These clean restrooms are maintained by Shelton Sephus. Thank you Shelton! • The teachers are doing a great job monitoring the restrooms to make sure children are not making a mess • The children are doing much better this year keeping it clean

  7. Cafeteria • Clean, Bright and Shiny • GCA and North Pike cafeteria employees work very well together cleaning the cafeteria. The cafeteria workers provide the children with a hot meal, wipe the tables and mop the floors and Rickey Morris uses the machines to auto scrub and buff the floors on a bi-weekly basis. I am proud of the staff for working as a team.

  8. Hallways • Hallways are shiny, walls are clean and carpets are vacuumed and cleaned on a daily basis. • I am proud of all of the staff for going the extra mile for the children this year.

  9. Exterior • The playground facilities are litter free and well maintained. What nice equipment! • The grounds are maintained at a high quality level at all times. Thanks to all of the NPES staff and students

  10.
