With article marketing there is software out there to help you, and broadly speaking, it can be put into two categories • Article Spinners • Article Directory Submitters • At the moment, there are wild claims that article spinners can spin your articles into hundreds of readable articles in seconds. Sadly that is a load of horse hockey, and as yet, I have not seen a program that can do this, otherwise I would have paid nearly any price for it.

Having said that, there are article spinners out there that cannot create content at the click of a mouse, they can help you rewrite your content. • This is done by simply replacing words with one or more that mean the same thing, these are called synonyms. • I have personally tried a few of these, and while they work to an extent, you usually have to load a database of synonyms in to get it to work properly.

  4. So in other words, quite a large learning curve. • Personally I would never use an article spinner as I think it’s quicker to do it manually. However, there is one set of circumstances where a content spinner could be useful. That is if you wanted to submit several slightly different versions of one article to a lot of article directories. • There are conflicting reports that if you submit your identical content to over 100 directories, you can avoid the Google duplicate content policy, other respected marketers say that Google will hit you hard for duplicate content.

  5. I have never had this problem as I only submit to no more than 4 directories, and if I’m not happy with the traffic I seem to be getting, then I submit to another 10 or 20. My advice is just monitor the amount of traffic your article gets, then submit to more if required.

  6. Article Directory Submitters are used for submitting to a lot of article directories simultaneously. Now if you are only submitting to one or two directories, then filling out the forms is not terribly time consuming. • If however, you are submitting to 100 at a time, this would take several hours of copying and pasting the information.

  7. This is where an article submitter would be very handy to have. Once you have created your username and password, you create an account with various article directories. • Then you can copy and paste your article into your software, then click the submit button, this saves a ton of time as the software submits your article to the directories. • Very recommended if you plan on submitting a lot of articles to a lot of article directories.
