The Appeal for tIrtha kaimkaryam It is Srimath Azhagiya Singar's thiruvuLLam that pure water from the perennial spring at SrI Malolan Sannidhi be brought down via granite acquaduct to SrI Ahobilesan sannidhi at Upper Ahobilam and from there to the guest house at upper Ahobilam. Few years ago there was a natural path for this water to flow down from Sri Malolan Sannidhi to Ahobilesan sannidhi via Varaaha Narasimhan Sannidhi. This stone path however has been ruined by natural calamities and water from Sri Malolan sannidhi cannot be accessed at this time. Srimath Azhagiya Singar, who has done so much for improving the comfort of travel to the Nava Narasimhan Sannidhis for all of us is keen on reopening this water supply via a weather proof granite pipe conduit.
The Appeal for tIrtha kaimkaryam (contd..) The length of the stone acquaduct from Malolan sannidhi to Sri Ahobilesan Sannidhi at upper Ahobilam is 1.5 Kilometers. Individual granite pieces of one square metre area will be cut to have a circular hole in the middle and 1500 such stones will be united to realize a covered channel to bring the water down in all seasons without external contamination. The water will be used to meet the increasing needs at the Sannidhis and at the Malolan guest house close to Ahobilesan Sannidhi. The total cost for the laying of the pipeline made up of 1,500 granite units is 15 Laks of Rupees or Rs. 1,000 per cut granite piece. It is assumed that 1500 sishyas helping with Rs. 1,000 (25$) each would raise the funds needed (15 Laks of Rs.) for this Theertha Kaimkaryam project at Ahobila Kshetram experiencing a steep increase in the number of vistors every year.
The Appeal for tIrtha kaimkaryam (contd..) Please sponsor 1 or 5 or 10 or 20 or 25 or 50 units of granite slabs on behalf of your families to expedite this kaimkaryam before monsoon season heightens at Ahobilam. The cost sharing algorithms for raising the needed 15 Lakhs of Rupees are: 1) 1,500 sishyAs sponsoring ONE stone each with the samarpaNam of Rs 1,000 or $25. 2) 300 sishyAs sponsoring 5 stones each with samarpaNams of Rs. 5,000 or $125 each. 3) 150 sishyAs sponsoring 10 stones each with samarpaNams of Rs.10,000 or $250 each. 4) 75 sishyAs sponsoring 20 stones each with samarpaNams of Rs.20,000 or $500 each. 5) 60 sishyAs sponsoring 25 stones each with samarpaNams of Rs.25,000 Rs or $ 625 each. 6) 30 sishyAs sponsoring 50 stones each with samarpaNams of Rs. 50,000 or $1250 each. 7) 10 sishyAs sposoring 150 stones each with samarpaNams of Rs.150,000 or or $3,750 each. namoSrI nrusimhAya!namOSrIMAlOlAya! namOSrIAhObilEsAya!
The Appeal for tIrtha kaimkaryam (contd..) Each of these granite stones would be ONE SQUARE METER in dimension . All samarpaNams are tax deductible in USA and in India. Please contact adiyEn at yennappan@computer.net if you wish to take part in this Theertha Kaimakryam somewhat akin to AchArya RaamAnuja's Theertha Kaimkaryam from Saalai KiNaRu at Kaanchipuram for Lord VaradarAjan.
