Rama’s father, the king in the picture, intends to have Rama become King but the King made a promise to make his other son, Bharata the king. Rama, his wife Sita ,and his brother are exiled and kill demons. One of the demons they killedis a sister of a man named Ravana and he kidnaps Rama’s wife. King Dasaratha
Rama gets help from a monkey general named Hanuman who finds Sita and Ravana but when Ravana leaves is when he saves Sita and then the battle begins. Hanuman
To prepare for the battle Ravana, who has 20 hands and 10 heads, formed prayers to receive blessing from Shiva to try and become more powerful than Rama. Shiva
Rama is given a gift from the gods and it was a chariot with the driver Matali in order to combat Ravana and Shiva. Rama’s Chariot
Ravana’s anger was building and sent thousand of arrows to Rama but Rama shot arrows to destroy the incoming arrows and he remained unhurt and the battle remained neutral until Ravana changed his tactics…
Ravana started using supernatural forces to battle. Then Rama started using them too. Forces called Maya, Ghana, Thama, Shivasthra and more were shot back and forth.
Ravana fired a trident with many forces on it which was his strongest attack and Rama was not even damaged showing his true power and strength with the help of the gods.
Rama kept cutting off Ravana’s head but they kept regrowing. Ravana, after a long battle, fainted but Rama would not attack him while he was down.
Rama finally killed Ravana with the use of Brahmasthra, a weapon created by the Creator Brahma. At first Rama was disgraced because it looked like Ravana was retreating but he was once again proud but humble after evidence proved otherwise.
