Oxford-led papers since Oct 2012 • arXiv:1308.1841 / CERN-PH-EP-2013-110 / submitted to JHEP, “Search for new phenomena in final states with large jet multiplicities and missing transverse momentum at √s = 8 TeV proton-proton collisions using the ATLAS experiment” • The first ATLAS run-1 SUSY paper • Innovative search in very high jet multiplicity final states • Very sensitive to squark/gluino production and cascade decays. • arXiv:1308.2631 / CERN-PH-EP-2013-119 / submitted to JHEP, “Search for direct third-generation squarkpair production in final states with missing transverse momentum and two b-jets in sqrt{s}=8 TeVpp collisions with the ATLAS detector” • The second ATLAS run-1 SUSY paper • World-leading sensitivity to sbottomsquarks • Interpretations for stop squarks and near-degenerate squarks

arXiv:1308.2631 SUSY sbottom searches • Sbottomsquark plays special role on SUSY • Search led by Alex Dafinca with Will Kalderon • Different signal regions target different mass heirarchies (e.g. ISR) • World-leading sensitivity to sbottomsquarks • Turns out also to be rather sensitive to stop squarks • Run-I paper completed
ATLAS-CONF-2013-093 SUSY Gaugino + Higgs searches • First search to look for Higgs in SUSY cascade decays • Dedicated b-tagging performance studies • Statistically limited, but providing first constraints • Run-I CONF note completed paper
