  2. LAST WEEK – March 8th INVOCATION ST. PATRICK’S WORD SEARCH SPEAKER Johnny Woodhouse:  a native Floridian, graduated from Sanford H.S. & Univ of North Fla. Has been a writer for over 10 years with the Beaches Leader . Began as a sports columnist, and over the years has become a featured reporter focusing on the history, residents and happenings in the Beaches communities. Most of his stories, and his presentation yesterday,  focus on the lives of people who have served in the military services. His Kiwanis talk was primarily about the many former attendees of Fletcher H.S. who lost their lives in WWII, Korea, & Viet Nam. Johnny went into detail on building a story: the research, family contacts, internet processes, etc. He answered several members questions concerning events and people from the Beaches.-- Carl Krouch Heavenly Father: Fill our hearts with gratitude so that we may constantly remember the unremembered. Let us not turn our backs on those who stand in need. Help us to remember the hungry with food, not just prayers. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen IRELAND IRISH GOLD POT RAINBOW GREEN CLOVER LUCK SHAMROCK JIG PATRICK SAINT SNAKES LEPRECHAUN SHILLELAGH From: “Invocations for Kiwanis Occasions” by James J. Muench Mr. Woodhouse presented a riveting story of his search for “the story”. Having been drawn to memorials of fallen sons of our Jacksonville community, Johnny found himself spending years seeking details of the lives of many of our own who offered the ultimate sacrifice for his country, family, and friends. His quest has involved local heroes from every conflict since WWII. He is a good man doing what he can to help others remember who these people were and what they gave for us all. --Butch Shadwell MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
