  2. What is Partial Quotients? It is a method to solve division problems. This is how to do it. • 4/381=? First choose a # like 50 and * by the divisor. So 50*4=200 subtract from 381=181. Repeat this step with different #’s until you cant divide anything from the divisor. Remember write what you * 4 by add all the # on the right column to get the whole. If the # isn’t O on the left side than add the same # as a remainder to the whole.
