The European Society for Quality and Patient Safety in Family Practice, acronym EQuiP. a WONCA Europe Network of professionals interested in quality and safety in GP. • EGPRN – Research • EURACT – Teaching • Vasco da Gama – Young GPs • EURIPA – Rural Doctors • EUROPREV - Prevention It is the only functioning GP network for Quality and Safety in the world. EQuiP has registered office in Copenhagen, Denmark. Erzurum November 2012

  3. What is EQuiP doing? Networking for quality and safety in GP/FM by: • Developing tools • European Practice Assessment • Maturity Matrix • EuroPEP • Doing projects, spreading the knowledge • Colleagues helping colleagues through networks Erzurum November 2012

  6. 3rd "EQuiP Summer School”, Berlin, Germany - July 19 – 22 2013 Quality Improvement in Primary Care: Instruments, Evaluation, Research - Idea and Aim • Gather young primary-care experts • Inspire them for primary care quality and quality research • Four days with morning and afternoon sessions • Interactive course with lectures by international experts, individual and group work • At the end of the course the participants should have the capacity to develop and present a concept for a research project to evaluate or to improve the quality of primary care • There is a social program to facilitate the networking and personal contacts with other participants and lecturers. A part of this program consists of visits to local quality projects. Erzurum November 2012
