Hes beginning of life • Born on April 15,1452,in Vinci Italy, and died in 1519 • He was born out of small town named wedlock. • He was raised by his step father Ser Piero • He soon became apprenticing
Starting in art for young Da Vinci At the age of fourteen he started apprenticing for an artist by the name of Verrocchio. For six years he learned a wide breadth of technical skills, including metal works, leather arts, carpentry, drawing and sculpting.
Mid life By the age of twenty he had became a master in the guild of Saint Luke, and established his own work ship. The next two years of his life went undocumented. Not even a word.......... He was unheard
His secret life. After his big break of getting accepted as a master. He went unheard, but under that time he filled numbers of secret books made in codes and story’s, some people said he went mad inside his house. Others said he went under cover and to live his life.
Finally he comes out of his home. when he came out of he’s house he had multiple inventions, and experiments, to people he seemed crazed but some thought he was a genus, showing the World a new view of things. He discovered that sounds traveled in waves and bounced off of objects. Some of he’s inventions were a tank a crossbow, and a flying craft. He’s flying craft was just a wooden base and leather wings, he’s tank used a wooden base and stone for protection and to sit inside and fire cannons from the inside, he’s crossbow was a base that was wooden with a bow string pulled back and the trigger witch set it loose.
The sad facts…. Hardly any of his inventions worked. The tank and the crossbow had some success but the broke easily. People thought he was a failure, but great fully he did not care he knew they did not have the correct technology of his time era, so he went on did more in life.
His master pieces The Mona Lisa is said to be the worlds best art work. In my opinion I think it is too. Another one of he’s great painting was the last supper. The last supper represents the last dinner that Jesus had with he’s friends before he was crucified
Last years of l ife In 1513 political events—the temporary expulsion of the French from Milan—caused the now 60-year-old Leonardo to move again. At the end of the year he went to Rome, accompanied by his pupils Melzi and Salai as well as by two studio assistants, hoping to find employment there through his patron, Giuliano ,brother of the new pope, Leo X. Giuliano gave him a suite of rooms in his residence, the Belvedere, in the Vatican. He also gave Leonardo a considerable monthly stipend, but no large commissions followed. For three years Leonardo remained in Rome at a time of great artistic activity: Donato Bramante was building St. Peter’s, Rapheal was painting the last rooms of the pope’s new apartments, Michelangelowas struggling to complete the tomb
of Pope Julius, and many younger artists such as TimoteoViti and Sodoma were also active. Drafts of embittered letters betray the disappointment of the aging master, who kept a low profile while he worked in his studio on mathematical studies and technical experiments or surveyed ancient monuments as he strolled through the city. Leonardo seems to have spent time with Bramante, but the latter died in 1514, and there is no record of Leonardo’s relations with any other artists in Rome. A magnificently executed map of the Pontine Marshes suggests that Leonardo was at least a consultant for a reclamation project that Giuliano de’ Medici ordered in 1514. He also made sketches for a spacious residence to be built in Florence for the Medici, who had returned to power there in 1512. However, the structure was never built.
LearnardoDaVincis death!!! Leonardo died on 2 May 1519 in Amboise. At this time Leonardo DaVinci was 67 year old. His state of health was not the best, because Leonardo had a paralysis on the right side of his body since 1517 and Vasari told about an illness some weeks before Leonardo died.
