Assessment • Hold up a food and the student says the name and color of the food. • Give the student a simple menu in Chinese and the student will list the foods in English. • Students will put the foods written in Chinese in the correct food groups. • The student will state 5 foods he/she likes and 5 foods he/she dislikes. • In groups, students will retell the story.

Class Counting Book • Give each student a page with the picture of 我的妹妹on it and a number (1-20) • Each student thinks of another strange and silly thing the little sister could eat and draws that number of things on the page. • These pictures can all be stapled together for a class counting book.
