Changes Since Draft 23 • Changed name to “Server-based Certificate Validation Protocol” • Addressed some id-nits • Incorporated dNSName comparison rules for id-kp-serverAuth into document (previously pointed to RFC 2818, which is informational) • Clarified that if client requests a protected response, response must use SignedData or Authenticated data even if response is being sent using a protected transport (e.g., TLS).

  3. Changes Since Draft 23 • Updated References section • With move from from RFC 3369 to RFC 3852, ASN.1 module now imports ContentInfo from CryptographicMessageSyntax2004 instead of CryptographicMessageSyntax. • No technical changes have been made since draft 23.
