Change is not new… • Following the Munn and Dunning reports of 1977, the Standard Grade replaced the old O-Grade qualification, and was phased in from 1984 until the early-1990s • In 1992a new series of Revised Higher Grade courses was put in place. When listed on the SCE the subject name would be followed by (Revised). • In 1999, a reform of the examination system known as "Higher Still" took place.
The nationals NB. BGE: Level 3 and Level 4 In S4, the QUALIFICATIONS are NAT 4 and Nat 5
Nat 4- No exam Nat 5 Coursework & Exam (graded A-D) Progression to Higher
