  1. 5 Reasons Students Fail in Examinations All students aim to crack their papers with flying colors. Though each of them tries hard to achieve success in the exams, but some fall victim to low marks or failure in the same.Any student who fails or gets a low score is unaware of all factors or doesn’t pay attention to them to pass the exams with flying colors. Your study approach, notes preparations, learning methods and interest could be the main factors in deciding your fate. While, there could be a million answers as to why students fail in examinations. However, these reasons should never act as excusesto compensate their performance. We have compiled a list of 9 of the most common reasons which you can work on to get your grades up. 1.Misdirected exam preparation Often a majority of students do not know the direction in which their study is headed to, which is a major cause of failure. While preparing for an exam, students should take the format, complexities, and nature of the subject into consideration. Self-study, writing notes, attending lectures and selecting proper study material will help you push yourself in the right direction favoring you in the long run. Online mock tests will act as an optimal tool to help you go ahead with your preparation. 2.Too much stress It is common for students to feel some pressure during the exam season. Hence, making sure that you get sufficient sleep and enough nutrientsis extremely vital. Fatigue and over stressing will render the revision ineffective, ultimately affecting your performance in the exams. In order to relieve this stress, combine your studies with some down time too by taking intervals.Following your normal routine will help you relax better, instead of treating exam day any different. At our CET coaching classes, we help our students get better at handling stress by conducting special personality development sessions. 3.Lack of interest Motivation is one of the biggest reasons for being successful. Not having interest in something leads to a lack of motivation as well, making it the prime reason behind students failing in their examinations. To get good grades, you have to aspire for it. A student who does not find the reason to succeed will never succeed.

  2. 4.Procrastination There is no doubt about the fact that procrastination is the enemy of progress. Another big reason why students fail is “I will do it later!” Not realizing that later never comes. You should never push away things you are supposed to do. As they say, “Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today.” Finish that assignment or complete that reading today instead of pushing it till the next day. 5.Inefficient time management The last but definitely not the least is time mismanagement. Many students face the problem of managing their time efficiently for their studies. The key here is to prioritize. Whether it is watching television, playing games, studying, listening to music or hanging out with a friend, you must give time to each according to your priorities. A successful student knows what to start first and what to follow with in order to devote proper time to studies. This will ultimately help in completing your course/revision in the desired time. To achieve success you must overcome these obstacles. Practice more through mock exams, study better through notes and find time to meditate for stress relief. We, at Charaka believe that peace of mind has a big role in climbing the ladder to success and practice that at our coaching classes too.
