  2. About us i-TEC was founded in 2007. In January 2009 i-TEC, Artic and Petro Tools were merged into one company. In close cooperation with our customers we invent, design, manufacture and deliver comprehensive solutions for completion and intervention. We have an unique technology environment, and a comprehensive portfolio of products and services based on over 30 patented inventions within downhole technology. i-TEC has per today a creative, enthusiastic and experienced talent pool of 35 employees.   7. RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT i-Tec’s R&D department is made up of a group innovative and enthusiastic inventors and engineers, highly devoted to their projects. Within i-TEC’s R&D environment, we hold experience and expertise within mechanical, hydraulic and electronic engineering as well as materials technologies within steel, alloys and compounds. New developments are traditionally performed in close cooperation with end user in order to bring field expertise into the design, resulting in high end quality fit for purpose solutions 22 of 29
