Study Tour 2015 (MDSE 4001) New York Trip Dates: Sunday, May 24 – Saturday, May 30, 2015 Cost of TripApproximately $1,700 (Includes air travel between DFW Airport & New York City, transfers between hotel & airport on arrival & departure, accommodations at a mid-town hotel for 6 nights with 4 people per room, public transportation in NYC via the public transit system, all industry appointments, & admission costs to one Broadway show, a special guided tour, & the Metropolitan Museum of Art) Costs Not Covered in Trip PaymentTuition & fees for 3 week Maymester 3 hour course, airline baggage & handling fees, travel from home to DFW airport for both departure & arrival, & transportation, food, shopping, & tipping during free time Required Class MeetingsMay 18-20, 2015 Pre-trip meetings from 9:00a-12:00p June 2-3, 2015 Post-trip meetings from 9:00a-12:00p Application ProcedurePrerequisites: DRTL 2090, HFMD 2400, or MDSE 2490 with a “C” or better, in good academic standing, & an approved application with consent of College of Merchandising, Hospitality & TourismPick up an application packet in the CMHT Academic Advising office or from Mrs. Dee Wilson, Chilton 342GSubmit your application form with a $300 non-refundable deposit payable to UNT-CMHT (check or money order only) & an unofficial transcript to Ms. Wilson by Friday, January 23.
