  4. Title 1, Part A • Improving Basic Programs in our Schools. • Four school-wide programs • Reading & Math Resource teachers and aides at AES, KES, MES, & PES • 1 Pre-K program at PES • Supplemental instructional materials • Professional development

  5. Title 1, Part C • Education of Migratory Children • Funds the Summer Migrant Program • Partially Funds the Summer Dental Clinic • Professional development • ELL instructional materials

  6. Title 2, Part A • Teacher Quality • Class Size Reduction Resource Teachers at: AES, KES, MES & PES • Recruitment and mentoring of new teachers • Coursework and highly qualified testing for teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals • Professional development for staff

  7. Title 2, Part D • Enhancing Education with Technology • Used to purchase LCD projectors, student response systems, & school touch pads. • Supplies United Streaming video content matched to the Virginia SOLs. • Professional development in the use of technology. • Document cameras, SmartBoards

  8. Title 3, Part A • Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient (LEP) and Immigrant Students • Translator • Professional Development for English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers • Instructional supplies for ELL classrooms

  9. Title 4, Part A • Safe & Drug Free Schools and Communities • Reconnect Program • Partially funds School Safety Analyst salary • Supports educational drug and violence prevention programs for all staff and students in Accomack County Schools

  10. Combining the Parts • The Consolidated Grant supplies Accomack County Schools with $2.9 million for our classrooms. • This money greatly enhances educational endeavors in our classrooms.
