E safety 3 Pupil Referral Units The TDA are currently providing the opportunity for tutors from all accredited providers to attend either the CEOP Ambassador training or the EPICT facilitator training. Stephen Carrick-Davis is researching how teachers working in Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) or with young people not in formal education, employment or training schemes (NEETS), . At the closing date we have over 300 applications from 102 providers. This means a large proportion of teacher trainers will have the skills and knowledge required to train our future teachers in e safety. are equipped and supported in responding to the very real E-safety issues of the vulnerable young people in their care The award winning Know it All resources partly funded by the TDA has now been produced in Spanish. Working with two contrasting primary schools Sheffield Hallam University are researching how schools can begin to work towards and meet the Ofsted outstanding grade in e safety as part of safeguarding. Findings to be shared with schools, LA, RBC and teacher training providers. One Stop Shop Working with Childnet we are developing an online resource for trainee teachers that will support their understanding of safe social networking. The site will offer guidance, UK case studies, a checklist and clear signposting to useful, high quality resources. The site will be hosted and maintained by Childnet who with SWGfL and IWF are the current UK e safety internet centre. .
