Odd Examples Can Be Good 1 Corinthians 4
They were servants and stewards. They were faithful, as best they knew. Judgment is for God. The people were to learn from them. Paul and Apollos were examples.
They thought they were better than others. They were judging their lives by the world’sstandards. The real standard was very different. Their priorities were upside down.
Paul was their loving father. Paul was their example to follow. Paul would discipline them if necessary. Paul was their spiritual father.
“Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2
Leaders should act as servants and stewards. Leaders must be faithful with a clear conscience. Only God gets to judge our leaders. We must learn from our leaders. Our leaders need to be examples.
We must be humble. We must be wise in Christ. We are weak and pitiful. We workhard. We respondkindly. Get your prioritiesstraight.
We all need to love and be loved, even when it hurts. Follow our example. Sometimes discipline is necessary. We need spiritual fathers.
