Introduction • Grey system theory was initiated in 1982 by Julong Deng. • The systems which lack information, such as structure message, operation mechanism and behavior document, are referred as grey systems. • A Grey system means that a system in which part of information is known and part of information is unknown. • Grey: poor, incomplete, uncertain, etc.

  3. Goal of Grey System • In general, the analysis of system characteristics is based on the statistical model which finds the statistical properties between data in a large sample set. • A large sample set is not that easy to be available; therefore, many systems are said in a status of poor information. • The goal of grey system and its applications is to bridge the gap existing between social science and natural science.
