Canadian Industry – What does it do? • Industry: economic activity that takes raw materials and makes them into goods and/or a type of commercial activity (ex. Tourist industry) • Economy: The wealth and resources of a country or region. • Natural Resources: Materials or substances such as minerals, forests, water, and fertile land that occur in nature and can be used for economic gain.
