Unlocking The Christie An exhibition on the history of The Christie Thursday 14th October 2010 Come to an exhibition dedicated to the pioneering achievements made at The Christie, and celebrate the community that has made it one of Europe’s leading cancer centres. Learn about research that has revolutionised cancer treatment, handle historical objects, and watch interviews conducted with past and present staff, patients and volunteers. Listen to chief physicist W.J. Meredith’s account of The Christie’s wartime exploits in the Blue John Mine, recorded by the Manchester-born Shameless actor, David Threlfall. The exhibition will be held in The Christie Education Centre on Thursday 14th of October. Officially opened by representatives of The Christie and the University of Manchester at 11.30am,it will run till 7pm.
