  2. History • Vampires were first portrayed as weird, scary creatures and in film were used to create fear with the audience. • Overtime the myth was built up. This included ays to kill a vampire or ways the vampire works. • Recently, There are two types of vampire films. • First, in films like twilight, all of the myths have disappeared and now modern vampires in film don’t kill people or seem to have a scary affect. • Other films like Underworld aren’t aimed to scary the audience but are just action films with a lot of gore.
