Geography and Climate • Location: parts of southern Mexico and South America, Eastern and Central Africa, Indonesia and New Zealand • Description: many plants and animals, moist, thick and tall plants, around the equator • Soil type: poor thin • Precipitation: more than 250 cm. of yearly rainfall • Temperature range: 80 degrees F ( stays the same) • Climate: warm, very wet, lots of rainfall, moist
