ASIM Payload on ISS Configuration on Columbus • The ASIM (Atmospheric Space Interaction Monitor) Payload includes: • MMIA (Modular Multi-spectral Imaging Array) Instrument. • MXGS (Modular X-ray and Gamma-ray Sensor) Instrument. • DHPU (Data Handling and Power Unit), Handles the interface to the Columbus module on ISS as well as monitoring and collection of data from the MMIA and MXGS Instruments MMIA SU MXGS Nadir pointing FOV = 80 deg. MMIA DPU CEPA DHPU Max. power incl. heaters = 420 W. Launch on Space X Dragon. Envelope 1205 x 1168 x 961 mm Mass = 312 Kg.
