  6. Call Back: second audition for a role

  7. Cheat out: actor positions body towards audience

  8. Cue: signals actions, actors or technology

  9. Dress Rehearsal: full costume, “mock show”

  10. Dumbshow: NVC parody of a full length show

  11. Flat: wooden backdrop. More permanent.

  12. Floor Plan: drawing of a set, bird’s eye view

  13. Follow Spot: spotlight that follows one character

  14. House: where the audience is seated

  15. Melodrama: overacting

  16. Pit: where the orchestra is seated, below the front of the stage

  17. Sightlines: backstage, audience view of performance

  18. Wings: sides of the stage
