My Food Philosophy Diet powerfully transforms health. As such, we must tune in to the ways in which we fuel our body daily. We are always in the driver’s seat, and headed in the direction of optimal health if we consistently make informed and nourishing choices. I passionately consume plant-based, whole foods daily, selecting locally-grown foods from farmers’ markets to become increasingly educated about where my food has been grown and how it has been raised. I also look to organic and non-GMO foods, particularly with produce ranking high in pesticide residues when grown conventionally. In-Home Cooking Courses This one-on-one, day-long service is personalized for the client, based on the types of culinary skills and recipes the client desires to build into his/her repertoire. The extent of skills and recipes executed during the course of the day will depend on the nature of the skills and demands of the recipes desired. These courses may encompass a variety of themes, including the following: The Basics of Culinary Nutrition Culinary Nutrition Superfoods Juices, Smoothies & Elixirs Plant-Based Main Dishes Seasonal Dishes Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Desserts Healing, Therapeutic Foods Boosting the Immune System Prior to the instructional day, a consultation (up to 30 minutes in duration) will determine the skills and recipes to be learned.
