  3. FAITH IN GOD The Word FAITH is defined as: the immaterial mechanism that produces material blessings and provisions from Creator God. Hebrews 11:1 A Leading Passage Explained:It is important to notice that Hebrews 11:1 is no exception to the rule that "faith" normally means "reliance," "trust." There "Faith is the substance (or possibly, in the light of recent inquiries into the type of Greek used by New Testament writers, "the guaranty") of things hoped for, the evidence (or "convincing proof") of things not seen.“

FAITH IN GOD A Leading Passage Explained: Continuation - This is sometimes interpreted as if faith, in the Hebrew writer's view, were, so to speak, a faculty of second sight, a mysterious intuition into the spiritual world. Nevertheless Hebrews chapter one shows that the faith illustrated, e.g. by Abraham, Moses, Rahab, was simply reliance upon a God known to be TRUSTWORTHY. It is said, that such reliance enabled the believer(s) to treat the future as present and the invisible as seen. In short, the phrase here, "faith is the evidence," etc., is parallel in form to our familiar saying, "Knowledge is power."

FAITH enables us to work together with Christ our Messiah and Saviour so that we will be full of the joy of the LORD, for it is by your own faith that you stand firm IN GOD.

  8. FAITH IN GOD Matthew 6:1-34 – The Themes of Matthew six are: Almsgiving, Prayer, Fasting and Wealth. Matthew chapter six is God's provision for a worry-free life. In that chapter, what our loving Father is really saying is, don't worry, I got your back. I got you covered. It is a summary of all that He is as told in various verses in the Bible. He is saying: Iam Jehovah Shalom, The Lord your peace (Judges 6: 21)Iam Jehovah Rapha, The Lord who heals you (Exodus 15:26)Iam Jehovah Jireh, The Lord who provides for you (Genesis 22:14)

Iam Jehovah Rohi, The Lord your Shepherd who takes great care of you (Psalms 23)Iam Jehovah-Elyon; The Most High Lord, who sees all and can do all (Psalms 7)I am Jehovah Sabaoth, The Lord of Armies who fights your battles (Isaiah 44:6, Malachi 3:7, and Psalms 46:7)I am Jehovah-Nissi, The Lord Your Banner (Exodus 17:15). Obviously when you have Jehovah on your side, there isn't a need to worry.Besides, the word of God says "which of you can add a single hour to span of life by worrying? (Matthew 6:27).
