  4. Purpose of FPC’s Provide ULI content to ALL members Provide a forum for information exchange Industry focus on major issues Impact attitudes regarding development Apply innovative approaches to planning Strengthen ULI’s overall impact in Florida and forum for discussion of priorities
  5. Purpose of FPC’s (con’t) Strengthen ULI’s overall impact in Florida and forum for discussion of priorities Help to improve the quality of development of this Product within the state of Florida – bring ULI content and value to the community in which we live, work and play
  6. FPC Executive Committee One representative from each DC Self-select FPCEC Chair – one year term FPCEC is ultimate authority for FPC’s – but serve at pleasure of DC’s Recruit and select FPC members/leaders Create, execute, and enforce guidelines of the Florida Product Councils
  7. FPC Exec Committee (cont’d) Add value to ULI membership within our Region Collect and Distribute funds for use by the individual FPC’s Keep DC staff time to a minimum Reimburse DC’s for administrative time

  9. FPC Membership Requirements ALL Florida ULI members eligible Outside FL eligible @ FPCEC discretion Annual cost is $250 Three – One Year Terms Must meet in minimum of two (2) out of every three (3) meetings. Must be “present” to be counted - Chair
  10. FPC Membership Req’ts (cont’d) FPCEC will stagger the terms Other FPC appointments may be available Maximum of five (5) guests per meeting – may be guest once Balance of the FPC is important: developers, owners, professionals, YLG’s, geography
  11. Transparency - Money Managed exclusively by FPCEC Does not flow back to the DC $250 per year $50 for Administrative expenses $100 for Mid-Year Meeting $100 for Summit Meeting Manage to small reserve – no profit
  12. Expectations of FPC Members Open, honest, specific & detailed information – be prepared Confidentiality Real Deals, Real Numbers (good & bad) Respect for Others No Self Promotion
  13. Expectations (con’t) No cell phones, smart phones, tablets, and laptops – be focused please Attend every meeting and attend for the full meeting Recruit the best and the brightest (Remember, YOU are occupying a seat that could be occupied by SOMEBODY that wants to be here)
  14. FPC Leadership - Chair Oversee all aspects of the FPC Set the direction of the FPC Member nominations – FPCEC Approve Guests for FPC Day Communicate to FPC members Review participation by members

  16. Program Vice Chair FPC Day programming is primary responsibility of Ass’t Chair with direct assistance from Program Vice Chair Help Ass’t Chair develop AGENDA for FPC Day Be creative on FPC Day
  17. Membership Vice Chair Recruit quality FPC members Assist Chair with nominations for FPC appointments by FPCEC Monitor attendance at FPC Day Manage Guest invitations as approved by Chair
