Fun •  it's fun to laugh out loud and giggle • it's fun to toss and turn and wiggle • it's fun to pull your sisters hair • it's fun when you know Mom's not there • it's fun to curl your toes and walk • it's fun to write with sidewalk chalk • it's fun to make a crazy sound • it's fun to roll around the ground • it's fun to scrunch your nose and eyes • it's fun to win the only prize • it's fun to visit Disneyland • it's fun to build things in the sand • it's fun to aggrevate the boys • it's fun to make the loudest noise • it's fun to walk with shoes un-tied • it's fun to sneek around and hide • it's fun to pretend that you shave • it's fun to sometimes mis-behave • it's fun to watch cartoons at home • it's fun to finally end this poem • michaelhubbert

  5. Biography • Because Michael Hubbert is not a famous poet, we couldn’t find anything about him. Sorry.

  6. Analyzing----------------------------------------:) • We think the poet of “FUN” was thinking of what little kids love to do. He was writing from the children’s view. It was really creative, because it’s really hard to write from a little kid’s view when you are a adult. It’s really nice because even though it all makes sense, and it rhymes. We loved the very last poem because it was really funny, and special. “It’s fun to finally finish this poem” Because no other poem says this, we enjoyed this poem so much.

  9. Biography of Olivia Taylor • Olivia Taylor is a tall, skinny person who love to write, and sing. She got straight ‘A’s and she usually turned all her poems in to short songs using her piano.

  10. Analyzing--------------------------------------:) • Even though this poem doesn’t rhymes, it has rhythm. If you read it, you can easily see the rhythm. It was made in to a poem with basic facts about water. But it gave a strong impression because it had good rhythm and it organizes the basic facts that we know about water. It made us think about water once more.

  12. I see a star • I see a star, • I see a star not so far, • I see a star wondering what its doing, • I see a star that so bright, • I see a star in the sky, • I see a star at night, • I see a star falling out of the sky, • Oh no, the star has gone. • billiejoemullen

  13. Biography • Because billiejoemullen is not a famous poet, we couldn’t find any information about him. Sorry.

  14. Analyzing--------------------------------------- • Unlike the previous 2 poems, this poem doesn’t have any rhythmorrhymes. However, it always started with a phrase, ‘I see a star’. It wasn’t fun as much as the 1st and the 2nd poems. Yet we thought we should have experiences with boring poems to learn what to avoid when writing a poem.
