Energy Fellows Program • Objectives: • Provide real-world project experiences • Investigate impact of university energy projects • Create professional development opportunities • Provide technical & professional preparation for future energy engineers • Minimum requirements: • 1 real-world “Living Lab” project • renewable energy, energy efficiency, food-energy-water nexus • 2 energy courses • 8 professional development activities • Program evaluation participation

Courses • Options for course requirements: • MAE 6262 Energy Systems Analysis • MAE 6263 Advances in Energy Engineering • MAE 6269 Nanotechnology in Energy Applications • EMSE 6200 Policy Factors in Environmental & Energy Management • EMSE 6260 Energy Management • EMSE 6285 Analytical Tools for Energy Management • Others by permission

Application • Components: • Resume (include name, year, major, expected graduation) • Summary of why you want to be in the program (< 1 page) • List of previous, current, future energy courses • Submission: • Email application to Prof. LeBlanc: sleblanc@gwu.edu • Subject line : Energy Fellows Program application for (insert name) • Attach 1 pdf with file name format: FirstName_LastName.pdf • Deadline: October 31, 2019
