Online PD Monitoring with Rogowski Coil in Covered-Conductor Networks

This study explores using Rogowski coils for on-line partial discharge (PD) monitoring in covered-conductor networks. When trees fall on medium-voltage networks, they can damage CC lines, making on-line PD measurements crucial for rapid detection and maintenance. By automatically detecting PD, visual inspection work is reduced, enhancing network reliability.
