Fun Facts Vampire bats strike prey from the ground, they get close to the target then approach on all fours. They are just 3 and a half inches long! Each bat has a heat sensor on there nose to help them find warm blooded animals. Baby vampire bats drink milk from the mother, even when the mother’s flying. They are found in Mexico, Central America, and South America.

Fun Facts The Flying Fox pollenates. They are megabats. There are also different species of flying foxes, some of those species are the Black, the Spectacled, the Grey-Headed, and the Little Red Flying-Foxes. Flying Foxes can see very well during the day and much better than humans at night. They can recognize each other by sight and smell. They also have 34 teeth. The sounds they make are chips and squabbles (so that’s what foxes say!)
