  5. The ovum travels down the Fallopian tube to the uterus. It is fertilized by a sperm cell in the Fallopian tube. The lining of the uterus continues to thicken. The fertilized egg implants in the wall of the uterus and begins to develop. OVULATIONAND MENSTRUATION An ovum (human egg cell) is released from one of the ovaries. The menstrual flow begins again. The uterine lining thins. The lining of the uterus begins to get thicker. The menstrual flow begins. The uterine lining thins.

  6. OVULATION ANDFERTILIZATION The lining of the uterus continues to thicken. The fertilized egg implants in the wall of the uterus and begins to develop. The ovum travels down the Fallopian tube to the uterus. It is fertilized by a sperm cell in the Fallopian tube. The menstrual flow does not appear; embryo continues to develop. An ovum (human egg cell) is released from one of the ovaries. The menstrual flow begins. The uterine lining thins. The lining of the uterus begins to get thicker.
