  2. Who created it?When was it first used? • The Bohr model was introduced and created by Niels Bohr. • It was first used in 1913.

  3. Why has this model been extremely useful to people and the field of science? • The Bohr model of the atom, has expanded the study of science to introduce us to an atom that has a positively-charged nucleus orbited by negatively-charged electrons. Scientists have since been able to build, test, compare, and revise Bohr's model bringing additional valuable tools to the study. This model has become essential to science because it explains most of the features of the atomic theory without all of the complicated math.
