In between, the leader is a servant." —Max DePree My favorite activities to do on campus are to attend programs and events, have picnics by our beautiful pond, and meeting wonderful people throughout the week. My favorite activities to do off campus is to attend church and bible study, spending time with friends, and doing community service projects when I have time.

This initial invitation granted me the opportunity to enhance my social skills with fellow peers, become involved with Student Senate and further leadership skills as president of SGA. As a TWU pioneer, I have had the pleasure of interacting and collaborating with administrators, faculty, and staff. I love going home and being with my family and just enjoying time with them because they are my motivation for me to work hard everyday and they make me a better person. 2. Outside of school I also love to write, spend time with my friends and sorority sisters, and live life to the fullest while thanking God for every moment. 3. I love to partake in any activity outdoors and any that involves nature.

She is a fluffy white Bishon Frise who loves to give me kisses and who loves to play with her toys. She has set behind me in my desk chair the whole four years of my studies here at TWU, so when I graduate this May so will she

Going back to school full-time as a single mother of a teenage daughter was no easy decision, but it was a decision that has rewarded me far beyond what I imagined. I have enjoyed many moments that reinforced my chosen path and kept me going during the toughest times.”-Mary

Being a part of the gymnastics team and Kappa Mu Epsilon allowed me to be with the people who love to do the same things I do.”-Margaret Activities: I love that I have been able to fulfill my lifelong dream of collegiate gymnastics while at Texas Woman’s University. I enjoy spending extreme amounts of time in the math lab for classes, Kappa Mu Epsilon, and anything else. I also enjoy studying at Zera’s Coffee shop and Jupiter House.

At TWU, I have had the privilege of being involved and interacting with multiple students, faculty, and staff which has allowed me to achieve things that I could not have imagined anywhere else. Jessica Moreno G-Force| League of Latin American Citizens I Kappa Epsilon Mu Kem Club I TWU Leadership Institute At TWU, I have always loved being involved in student organizations and activities. As a sophomore, I became a G Force mentor for high school students and it allows me to venture off-campus and help the community have access to information about higher education. My favorite TWU tradition is Spring Fling! It is an amazing experience where all campus organizations come together for the golf car parade, and everyone shows their school spirit.

I loved the spirit of orientation leaders and every time they shout it out “T-Dub U-Know” I felt like I belong here. -Puja My favorite activities include siting by the fountain, or studying at the library, or feeding turtles; I never feel homesick. I also like to participate in any on campus activities, mentoring high school students through g-force, and planning programs for on campus residents.

Christian Soleto KEM Club I Science Learning Resource Center I Joint Admission Medical Program Opening the door, that led me into TWU, was the first of many. It’s amazing, and a dream come true to receive all the blessings that TWU has provided for me. From an on campus job the first day of classes to acceptance into the JAMP program. The memories TWU has given me are too many. But I appreciate every single one of them and am beyond grateful for all the opportunities I have received at TWU and from TWU. Choosing this school to receive my bachelor’s degree, was the best decision I ever made. - Christian Though it is my job, I enjoy working at SLRC, the Science Learning Resource Center. I have fun on magic shows, with the KEM Club. I enjoy simply walking through the campus, observing all the nature the campus surrounds us with. All the green, from the grass and the trees, the squirrels running around, and the clouds above is relaxing after a hard day at work and school.

If the weather is nice, I enjoy going on nature trails and observe animals in their natural habitat. I am truly a kid at heart, so I love participating in activities and organizations that allow me to work with children and help them understand the importance of making the best of their childhood. When my schedule allows it, I love to spend my time in the kitchen. I enjoy trying new recipes and experimenting with different ingredients.

It's such a joy to see the surprise on new students and the happiness and enjoyment of our campus and in the "thankfulness" from the people of the community. I truly felt that I made a differences! “I'm a first generation of college graduate in my family. Middle child of six and the last one to earn my bachelor degree. It's been a hell of 2 1/2 years of "No LIFE" but, looking back now.......it's all worth it. TWU is the key that opens doors and windows into my future in the health care field personally and professionally. I will start my first career after graduating with MD Anderson in June 2014 and promise to continue the legacy of TWU. ” ~Daffanie
