What do they look like • They have long ears. • They are usually brownish. • Since the rabbits have fur they are mammals.
Where do they live • Marsh rabbits live in any continent except Antarctica. • Their favorite places to live are grass lands, woods, forests, mountains, and deserts. • But they can survive in all sorts of places.
What do they eat? • They are strict vegetarians. • Their favorite food is grass buds and twigs. • They also like tree bark and lichen.
Predators!!!!! • They have many predators. • Some of them are bobcats, owls, and foxes. • And some times human hunt them for their fur and meat.
Interesting facts • There are about 62 species of rabbits in the world. • They are widely distributed except on the islands of southeast Asia and Antarctica. • Now they are common in Australia.
