Introduction to TAA • The purpose of TAA is give students information but also to receive information from students! • Students will be awarded credit on their transcript for completing activities and assessments. • TAA exists to ensure that students receive guidance-based services that aid in personal/social maturity, academic progress, and career development.

Moodle Sign-up • To sign up for Moodle: • Open Moodle (3 options!) • 1) EHS Homepage: Student Services: 11th grade: scroll down and look for the big M. • 2) Your TAA teacher’s Website should have a link • 3) Type http://moodle2.cherokee.k12.ga.us/ into your browser. • Now find 11th Grade Junior TAA • Log onto Moodle using your CCSD username and password • You will need an enrollment key the first time: • Your enrollment keyis your TAA teacher’s name—lower case
Why Do I need to sign up for Moodle? • 1) It is a requirement and your first TAA assessment! • 2) School voting processes such as homecoming will be conducted using Moodle—You want to have a say in these things!! • 3) Assessments will be given through Moodle. • 4) There are links to CCSD sites such as the student portal. • 5) There are several links to important sites such as ACT/SAT registration and GA College411. As Juniors, start visiting these sitew. • 6) It is a requirement and your first TAA assessment!!
