  2. Step 1:Tag Student • Click on the Drop Down box under “Tag” • Scroll down the list until you find “N No Show” and click on it.

  3. Step 2: Check for Unnecessary Data in Attendance • Click “1 Attendance” • Check for any dates that have attendance data • Anything other than *NOT ENRL* is considered attendance data and should be removed. • The following screen shows a “No Show” that has attendance data entered as U – unexcused absence.

  4. Sample Attendance Data Problem Since this student is a No Show, there should not be anything in the all day code or in the period boxes other than *NOT ENRL*. The U’s you see are problematic in that they will causes unneeded Gains and Losses, among other things, in monthly attendance reports.

  5. Step 3: Erase Enrollment Enter and Leave Dates • Click the “Switch” button in the lower right corner. • Delete any Enter and/or Leave dates that appear by clicking on the box with the black arrow and pressing the DEL key on the keyboard.

  6. Step 4: Report No Shows to Your Aeries Administrator • Jot down the “Stu#” (student number, not their permanent ID) and email it to your Aeries administrator so that invalid attendance data can be erased from the qATT Table.
