The Course • 60% Controlled Assessment Tasks : • 3 x 8 hour short tasks • 1 x 40 hour task, Child Study of a child under 5years • 40% Exam: • 5 questions on the course content taken in June Year 11
An Academic Subject • Although interesting you need to be aware that this subject has a large academic content and is not just about cooing over babies! • Theory work is extensive • You will need to be prepared to write lesson notes and complete essays. • Weekly homework is essential
