Deliverables: Recommendation for Fall 2009 • Comparison of FQL to a “Matrix of International Standards” (academic and career related) • Implementation process for elementary and middle school international studies/21st Century learning focus • Development of a High School Concept Team to make a recommendation regarding International Studies/21st Century Academy
2009-10 Pilots • Agnor-Hurt, Meriwether Lewis, & Henley will pilot IB curriculum and evaluate for FQL consistency, student achievement, 21st century learning, and parent support • Walton will pilot an International Studies curriculum focused on World Languages
Pilot Requirements • IB training for administrators and teacher teams • Curriculum development • Evaluation process and plan • Constant monitoring of progress toward goals
