Activity • Make a 3 column organizer on your paper • In the first column, write at least 5 statements about yourself as a writer • In the second column, list the titles of pieces in your portfolio that support what you have said about yourself as a writer • In the third column, list specific reasons why these pieces meet the needs of your readers.
Activity • Work with your partner to examine models of reflective letters. • Highlight the statements the authors make about themselves as writers. • Highlight the details the authors use to support those statements.
